Many congratulations to Alex Movila who from today becomes the new Operations Manager at OCS Worldwide.

Alex’s career is a testament to the value of internal growth within the OCS team, because he first joined us as a part-time mail sorter, when he was still studying for his degree!

Here’s a quick run through of Alex’s career, which has seen him getting experience across the business:

2009: Started as a part-time mail sorter, processing global postal exports.

2011: Graduated and joined OCS full-time as operations clerk, managing flight closures and airline presentations.

2014-2015: Moved into leadership as operations supervisor, eventually switching to the late shift to manage high-volume London Heathrow deadlines.

2017: Promoted to duty manager, overseeing a team of 30+ staff during a period of significant growth.

Alex now takes over the Operations Manager role from Rob Cinti, our Operations Director, who similarly began his OCS career as an operations clerk.

Alex now brings 17 years of hands-on operational knowledge to the position and we know he is going to be fantastic in his new role.
