Fuel Surcharge Policy

At OCS Worldwide, we apply a fuel surcharge that reflects on-going fluctuations in global fuel prices. This ensures we can maintain a reliable service, while adapting to market conditions.

Our Express Courier Fuel Surcharge is based on the average monthly U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) spot price for Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel, published by the U.S. Department of Energy. Each month’s rate is calculated using pricing from the previous two months. Exceptions to this calculation can be made in times of conflict or global pressure affecting fuel prices.

Our eCommerce Fuel Surcharge is based on the average of current surcharges being applied by partners and final mile providers, as global circumstances fluctuate with the price of fuel. This is normally set lower than the Express Courier tariff to reflect the slower eCommerce service.

• Express Courier Services: 39.00%
• eCommerce Services: 10.00%

Additional Exceptional Fuel Surcharge – April 2026

An additional Exceptional Fuel Surcharge of 5.0% will be added to all eCommerce services from 1^st April 2026. This is to support the increase in global fuel prices as a result of the Iranian conflict.

This means that all eCommerce services, with the exception of B2B2C solutions will incur a total of 15% Fuel Surcharge from 1st April 2026. (eCommerce Surcharge – 10% plus Exceptional Surcharge – 5%, Total 15%)
